Geo Green Power helps local family cut energy bills!

When Kevin Pritchard from Castle Donington started to investigate renewable energy, he opted for Geo Green Power to fit his 5.2kW solar panel system and an 8.06kW battery system on his property. With three children and many electronic gadgets, Kevin explained that his family of five uses a high amount of energy and was hoping that a solar PV system would help reduce his electricity costs.

After receiving several quotes from other companies, a visit from our surveyor, James, meant that Kevin was able to gain a personal view of what Geo Green Power has to offer. This initial on-site meeting helped Kevin choose the right system for his home and he valued the fact that “there was no sales pressure after sending the quote.”

Our designers worked alongside Kevin and his family to make sure the system was located in the most suitable place and the job specifics were organised efficiently. On arrival, the installation team had no further questions about the project and were able to get straight to work on the install.

Kevin valued the site team’s punctuality, the smooth running of the installation process and all the documentation being sent promptly. Our professionalism and care shown by our installation team was also highlighted alongside how they were able to accommodate other works in progress at Kevin’s home.

Kevin and his family are incredibly satisfied with their Geo Green Power renewable energy systems. He stated that: “The systems have been performing effectively since installation and we’ve been enjoying self-sufficiency.”

The family’s solar panels are estimated to generate 5,633kWh of electricity and save 1.4 tonnes of CO2 a year. Energy costs will have been significantly reduced and the estimated total income and savings over thirty years is likely to reach £46,190.
