Geo Green Power won the installation job for Moto through a tender involving 12 other companies, and the installation work began soon after. Our efficient site team installed the systems, ranging in size from 35kWp to over 400kWp totaling an estimated output of 1,240MWh per annum and will now provide a 5-year maintenance contract as part of the deal.
The solar panel systems have been installed at Winchester North, Wetherby, Grantham, Pease Pottage, Donnington Park, Stirling, Trowell, Woolley Edge Southbound, Thurrock, Southwaite, Woolley Edge Northbound, Cherwell Valley and Rugby – which has the largest install of 402kWp. Property Director at Moto, Jess Lockwood, stated that: “We’re excited to see the positive impact these systems will have and have already started expanding them to more of our locations starting with Exeter and Sawtry.”
James Cunningham, Managing Director of Geo Green Power, added: “We’re delighted to be working with Moto Hospitality on their journey to net zero. Our mission extends beyond just helping Moto reduce their emissions; we aim to inspire other businesses to evaluate their environmental footprint and adopt sustainable practices to create a greener future for everyone.”
