The Boiler Upgrade Scheme is a government-backed scheme for installing a heat pump. The owner of the system gets a voucher for up to £7500 towards the cost of the install if a fossil fuel heat source is being replaced or if the property has never had a heating system.
Following recent energy price volatility, the UK Government has officially announced an increase in the Boiler Upgrade Scheme (BUS) grant.
Effective immediately, households replacing oil or LPG boilers can now access £9,000 in funding, up from the previous £7,500.
