Products and Innovation
At the heart of their current lineup is the SunPower Performance 7 series. Unlike standard solar panels, the Performance 7 utilises advanced N-type TOPCon technology and a unique shingled-cell design. By overlapping the solar cells and replacing traditional metallic ribbons with flexible, conductive adhesives, SunPower eliminates the “dead zones” found in typical panels. This “shingling” creates a highly resilient electrical architecture that is significantly more effective at managing shade and reducing the risk of micro-cracks. Furthermore, the Performance 7 features a bifacial glass-glass construction, allowing it to capture sunlight from both sides while offering exceptional resistance to the harshest weather conditions.
