Geo Green Power won the initial installation job for Moto through a tender involving 12 other companies, and the installation work began soon after. As work progressed two further sites were added to our schedule. The 15 systems, ranging in size from 35kWp to over 400kWp, will deliver an estimated output of 1,371MWh per annum and we are providing a 5-year maintenance contract as part of the deal.
The solar panel systems have been installed at Winchester North, Wetherby, Grantham, Pease Pottage, Donnington Park, Stirling, Trowell, Woolley Edge Southbound, Thurrock, Southwaite, Woolley Edge Northbound, Cherwell Valley, Exeter, Sawtry and Rugby – which has the largest install of 402kWp. Property Director at Moto, Jess Lockwood, stated that: “We’re excited to see the positive impact these systems will have.”
James Cunningham, Managing Director of Geo Green Power, added: “We’re delighted to be working with Moto Hospitality on their journey to net zero. Our mission extends beyond just helping Moto reduce their emissions; we aim to inspire other businesses to evaluate their environmental footprint and adopt sustainable practices to create a greener future for everyone.”
