Working with Us

After finding us online, F. Ball and Co. Ltd. contacted us to provide a quote for a second solar PV installation they were planning at their site at Churnetside Business Park, Leek.

As discussions progressed, and they learned more about our dedicated Operations & Maintenance service, we were also asked to attend and assess their existing system, which had a number of faults and issues. Following our visit and report on the findings, we carried out remedial works to replace nine inverters and recommission the system.

Following this encouraging start, F. Ball and Co. Ltd. were very confident of our team’s competency and dedication and selected us to install their second solar PV project. Results

Since the project’s completed installation, F. Ball and Co. Ltd. is predicted to benefit financially. It’s expected that F. Ball and Co. Ltd’s estimated internal rate of return is 31.6% per annum at a 3-year payback rate.

As with all solar PV installations, F. Ball and Co. Ltd. is set to see a decrease in its energy bills, improved energy security, and a significant reduction in emissions.

The system is saving 59 tonnes of CO2 a year, which is the equivalent of permanently removing 12 petrol cars from the road.
