Geo Green Power completed a 214kWp solar PV installation at the European headquarters of Sodick Europe in Warwick, supporting the company’s long-standing commitment to sustainable product design and Net-Zero growth.
Sustainability at Sodick
Established in 1976, Sodick has been manufacturing world-leading Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM) for nearly 50 years and opened its fantastic purpose-built £7 million European facility in 2019 with considerable plans for growth and expansion.
Sodick has already set several sustainability initiatives in motion, including partnering with environmentally responsible suppliers to ensure sustainable sourcing of materials.
Their commitment to sustainability extends to their product design, with a focus on creating energy-efficient machines that help their customers achieve their own environmental goals.

Why Did They Choose Us?
Adding solar panels to the company’s roof was another step Sodick took in order for the company to become more sustainable. When it came to deciding which renewable energy company to choose, Geo Green Power was referred to Sodick’s Director, Gregory Kirby, by one of their previous customers. After reviewing our capability statement and credentials online, our team was selected to carry out Sodick’s installation.

Results
Every year, their system will generate an impressive 184,000 kWh of clean electricity, cut CO2 emissions by 46 tonnes, and provide a saving of over £37,000 a year.
We wish them well on their journey to Net-Zero.
