Following an extension upgrade on his 1950s 3-bed semi-detached home, Graeme from Loughborough felt it was time to accompany his refurbished 4-bedroom house with a solar panel system

Increased Sustainability Following a Renovation

After completing an extension upgrade on his 1950s 3-bed semi-detached home, Graeme from Loughborough felt it was time to add solar PV to his refurbished 4-bedroom house. Knowing it would be a good long-term investment, and understanding the continuous rise in electricity costs, Graeme was keen to investigate solar panels. He began the search for a renewable energy installation company.

Working with Geo Green Power

Graeme explained that he’d “spoken to a few people from other companies who he didn’t feel happy with,” and some long, extensive research was conducted to ensure he selected the most suitable team for his installation. After discussing his needs with Geo Green Power, Graeme admired our upfront attitude and honesty- especially after we advised against him installing a battery for his property. Throughout the installation process, our team impressed him with their polite and respectful attitude.

Graeme also added that location played a role in his decision to work with Geo Green Power, and the proximity of our offices assured him that we would be on hand if needed for service or maintenance.

Graeme’s PV system

Following the fitting of the 3.85kWp solar panel system, Graeme stated that he is “very pleased” with the installation. The system is estimated to generate 3,465kWh of electricity and save 1 ton of CO2 per year. Over a span of thirty years, Graeme’s expected total income and savings could reach £39,775.
