Kitty Cunningham
As Operations Director, Kitty Cunningham holds overall responsibility for ensuring Geo Green Power’s projects are delivered successfully – from managing project costs against budget to ensuring schedules align with contractual milestones. With 15 years’ total experience and having been part of the business since January 2011, she plays a central role in shaping how projects are planned, delivered, and continuously improved. A key focus of the role is driving process change, challenging inefficiencies, and ensuring the business evolves in step with its growth.
Unlike a conventional career path, Kitty’s journey at Geo Green Power began at the very foundations of the company. Starting in a general administration role, she was instrumental in setting up the business and went on to run multiple core functions including planning and permissions, central administration, and accounts. This hands-on experience across every department provided a unique, end-to-end understanding of the organisation and its operations. As the business grew, so did her responsibilities, allowing her to identify her strengths in operations and ultimately take ownership of the company’s project delivery function.
Alongside extensive practical experience, Kitty holds two degrees – an LLB in Law and an MSc – bringing strong analytical, contractual, and strategic thinking to the role. Outside of work, our multi-talented ops director competed in squash at a high level during their teenage years, achieving strong English rankings and attending England training camps. A keen musician, she also holds Grade 8 qualifications in both piano and saxophone and are now hoping to pass on that passion by helping their five-year-old learn an instrument.
