Renewable Heat Systems

Have you considered installing a renewable heating system in your commercial premises or investment property? The benefits, in terms of financial returns while supporting environmentally responsible technologies, can be extremely attractive. The government’s Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) scheme is applicable to a variety of technologies including solar, ground source heat pumps, biomass boilers and stoves and more.

Geo Green Power are experts in renewable heating systems. We install reliable, efficient heat-pump and biomass systems and can provide fully bespoke turnkey solutions. Whatever your heating requirements, our specialist team will be able to help you find the perfect heating solution for your energy needs.

Ground Source Heat Pumps

Ground source heat pumps have experienced a recent surge in interest among commercial operators. Replacing conventional heating and taking advantage of the government’s Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) schemes, it’s an attractive solution to lower your fuel bills and your carbon emissions.

Ground source heat pumps (GSHPs) use a network of pipes buried underground to extract heat. Using a mixture of water and antifreeze around a ‘ground loop’ of pipe, the heat from the ground is transferred through the fluid and passed via a heat exchanger into the heat pump. It’s a simple, reliable and efficient system.

Since the underground temperature stays fairly constant through the year, heat pumps can be used without disruption. What’s more, GSHPs require no fuel deliveries while there is minimal maintenance required for the system once it has been installed.

Air Source Heat Pumps

Air Source Heat Pumps

Are you heating your home with LPG or oil? Are you considering swapping your conventional boiler? Would you like air conditioning for warmer months? Have you considered an Air Source Heat Pump?

Heat pumps work on the same principle as refrigerators, just in revers! This technology has been around for many years and is very reliable and efficient. Heat pumps absorb warmth from the ground, water or air and heat our homes and work spaces. Even when the outside temperature reaches -20 an Air Source Heat Pump can heat radiators, underfloor heating, warm air convectors and hot water.

Biomass Boilers

Biomass boilers are an environmentally sound, sustainable heating solution for both residential buildings and commercial premises. The system is based on burning biomass, e.g. wood pellets or logs, which emits the same amount of carbon dioxide as is absorbed while the plants were growing. That’s why biomass is classed as a carbon neutral renewable heating solution.

Biomass boilers are designed to burn biomass fuels with a high degree of efficiency, using the energy thus produced to provide both heating and hot water. Particularly in areas where mains gas is not available, biomass boilers can be more cost effective and efficient than traditional fossil fuel boilers.
