Celebrating our amazing team at our inaugural team geo green annual summer party!
Last weekend we hosted our team and their families at our HQ to enjoy some food, drinks, music and a variety of games. With a growing team of over 70 people, this was a great opportunity to say thank you to everyone who has helped us triple our turnover in the last year.
We didn’t let the rain dampen our spirits and amongst the sumo suit wrestling, bouncy castles, ice creams and face painting we fitted in a free raffle to win some great prizes. Everything from and a weekend away to a pack of loo roll was up for grabs.
Our team is the cornerstone of our business, and our first Summer Party is just one way of saying thank you for their hard work and commitment. We want to be the employer of choice in the renewable energy sector, an ambitious goal that we’re determined to achieve. We’re proud that many of our employees have been with us for over 10 years and we will continue to invest in our employee proposition to ensure a successful future for all of our team.
Between the rain showers our youngest guests were sent on a treasure hunt for the highlights of what we’ve achieved in the last 6 months, which includes planting over 300 trees, installing 7.5MW of solar PV and committing to reducing our fleet emissions through electric and plug-in hybrid vans among many more.
We want to thank everyone for making our first ever Summer Party so much fun and we’re already collecting ideas for 2024!!
