Petrol and Diesel Ban Brought Forward to 2035

We welcome the news today that the government are bringing forward the ban on petrol and diesel cars to 2035. In the efforts to reach net zero by 2050 it is crucial that government continues to listen to expert advice when it comes to making important decisions.

After a 144% rise in demand for electric vehicles over 2019 the public shift away from fossil fuel vehicles is evident and we’re glad to see government action mirroring and supporting this trend.

We look forward to the UN Climate summit in Glasgow later this year, and further positive action taken to reduce our carbon emissions.
